Carts piled high with steamer baskets are rolled continuously through the restaurant at midday, and servers stop at each table to offer bite-size dim sum items such as steamed shrimp, chive dumplings, tangy barbecued pork buns, roasted quail or sticky rice steamed in lotus leaf.
